No Power

I just upgraded my mobo to Asus M2nE I have a athlon x2 6000 a 600w power supply and an 8800gts video card. I set everything up and the green light comes on on the mobo but it wont power on I press the button and nothing happens. I also have a 500w power supply i tried and it didnt work. Any Suggestions?
 
Did you put the case power switch on the motherboard header the right way?

Could have a broken power switch on ur case? It might be worth using a paper clip to turn on the power sw.
