No signal

As soon asi plug my monitor in, there is a no signal message and then it goes into sleep mode whats wrong?

The first step might be to try another monitor to determine if it's the PC or the monitor. If it's the PC, then it could be any number of problems including video card, motherboard, RAM, etc.
