"No Signal"

Hello all i have a problem can you help?

I have a HIS IceQ Excalibur Radeon 9800 Pro.

When i play battlefield 2 the graphics card runs fine. When i try to play counter strike source or Age of empires 3 it runs for a while then the screen goes black and says "No Signal" Anyone have any ideas why it is doing this and how i can stop it from doing this??
 
bad screen resolution comfigurations not supported by the monitor, i had that happen to me once, game would load, then when it changes to ingame resolutions, it does out
 
What is my best screen resolution ? i use 60htz and 1280 by 1024 Pixels and 32bit (colour) and my moniter is set like that aswell.
 
I was thinking you had the refresh rate set out of range but 60hz is normal. If it actually plays for awhile and shuts off, it sounds like a heat issue although im not sure why it would play BF2 fine and CS not. It could be your card is on its last leg of life. While the 9800 is the most versatile card ive ever owned, you are stressing the hell out of it trying to play BF2 and other graphically demanding games at 1280 x 1024. I would try turned the res down and see if that helps.
 
well i have wrote an e-mail to overclockers about it, i have had it from the begining of August and its been like that all the time. Should i try putting the Refresh rate up? see if that does anything
 
Good news all i have just recived an e-mail off overclockers who i got the graphics card off and they said they will take a look at it or replace it if i send it back so first thing tomorrow send!
