no sonund on hp computer

hi all, i am in need of help. i have downloaded the drivers on my manafactures web site i even deleted the driver and still no sound. below is my computer and its specs thanks for all they help you can give me.

once again thanks.. i see the sound icon in task bar but its on high and still no sound i plug head phones in and even speakers still no sound thanks for everything .

Have you checked in the Bios that onboard Audio is enabled?
Did it suddenly just stop working?

aye i don't see anything in the bios, also im running windows xp.

Do you have them plugged into the green jack on the back of the pc? Also go into the sound properties and check what device is set for output.
