No sound... hmmm please help

I have no sound at all after a fresh build. I installed the driver and it still will not work.. please help. thanks
 
Check these

1.You have the speaker cable plugged in and in the correct port.

2.You have sound drivers installed.

3.You have Sound turned up and enabled.

4.Have a look in device manager to see if theres any problems
 
Also, check and see if your speakers will work on something else like another computer or mp3 player.

4. Device Manager Says thats the drivers status is OK

Still no sound... any other ways to fix? thanks guys for the input so far
 
LOL... what an easy fix... There were no jumpers installed on my front Panel audio Header!!!! Thats weird... because I never took them off... but whatever. What pins do I need to put jumpers on to my rear audio panel work now?

3.Mic Power/Bass
4.Audio Power
5.R Line Out
6.R Line Out
7.Reserved
8.Key
9.L Line Out
10.L Line Out
11.R Line In
12.R Line In
13.L Line In
