No Sound - Windows 10

Hi, I have no sound on my laptop for a few days now, it seemed to stop all of a sudden.

I have looked in all the settings and it's not muted or anything like that.

I am using an Acer Nitro 5.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Is the sound driver still installed?
2. Do you have the sound icon down by the clock? Is there an X to the right of it or the 3 waves?
3. Speaker cable plugged in? Are they powered speakers or not?
