When i go in to the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, it says there is no Audio Device.

Everything work fine till today. I think i uninstalled something, could be the audio driver. Not sure. Anyway it is not working anymore,

The audio is integraded into the mobo. Here is a link for the mobo below.

Any idea how i can fix that? where can i download a audio driver for it?

Thank you

I downloaded the driver and tried to install it but was unable to. I don't understand the message eighter since it was not in engish for somereason. but i think it said something about one verson of teh driver is newer then the other.

I also tried the disk that came with the mobo but got the same message.

Is there any other way to fix the problem?

Would installing the bios again fix the problem?

How do i install the bios? It should be in the disk that came with the mobo right?

Thank you

The bios program is for the basics like configuring which drive will load the OS from as well as the time and date settings. That is downloaded separate from the original cd along with a bios flash tool. Most newer boards have a form of EZBios for updating it or you can even find updates that run in Windows occasionally.

If the bios lost information then an update would correct that since the onboard feature could have been effected. But with no items seen in the DM it sounds like you need to reinstall a fresh set of drivers. You may have seen a sound dropoff as well. When in the DM look for any "other devices" with a yelllow mark next to them. One other would be right clicking on anything found in the Sounds, Video, and Game Controllers section and choosing the uninstall option or download a driver removal tool for the fresh set to go on.
