No stand by or Hibernate option

I reinstalled windows after wipping the hd rebooted i think all of the drivers but i have no Stdby option on the shutdown or in the power option menu any help please

goto control panel and then power options and then hibernation and then click on enable hibernate

Have you fully updated your windows installation through Microsoft Update? Because if you haven't, that may well fix the problem.
