no top sites on safari??

So i downloaded safari several times, and for some reason I dont have the "top sites" button on my toolbar. I actually don't think i have top sites at all. Any ideas?
 
On the top, below the "Back" button, you see the bookmarks button? It's a book, next to it, you should see a box of 4x3 boxes (if that makes sense). That's the "Show Top Sites" button.
