no video.. only if turn off and restart.??

Hi all..

I have installed the codecs for my video card.. But I am still having problems..

If I play video it is black.. But I hear sound!!

If I press the off button on my comp for 5 secs so it shuts down.. And then restart it.. The video works...

I cant really keep doing that to my comp just to see video..

Anyone have any idea what the problem is??
 
if you mean you have installed a codecs pack to play video try uninstalling it
thay are a pain and can cause alot of problems
