No Windows XP ?

:confusedWas just checking out my refurbished GX620 I got and noticed the cd-rom is empty...is this the reason there is no windows coming up at start-up? Why would they sell me a incomplete computer? Or is the windows xp stored somewhere inside of it?

I got it from Rakuten. I am not sure if they loaded it onto the hard-drive

Can you provide a link to the product page? They have multiple options available. You'd need to fully read the description to see if Windows comes loaded on it or not.

I read through some of the reviews. Apparently you're not alone in receiving a machine without Windows installed.
So what you can do is either find a Windows XP Professional CD or send it back.

The best thing to do would be to call Rakuten support and ask for a replacement computer since the one you have is not working. If it has been less then 45 days then they should be paying for the return shipping costs.
