Noisy microphone

Hi, the thing is that my microphone is very noisy, I was thinking that it's just broken, but then I was trying few things and I figured out that every time I touch something metal (notebook desk,heating and others) my microphone is totally fine. Once I stop touching metal things it is noisy again. I'm not professional or something, so I'm just asking if someone knows. Microphone- yenkee yhp 3035 shadow

My guess would be thats its not grounded properly? Are you sure its plugged in all the way? Have you tried a different microphone?

It is plugged all the way in, and the microphone sounds completely fine when im touching metal things, so i guess its something with electricty but i dont know.

Please try a different microphone. Sounds like there is a grounding issue inside the microphone.

I tried the main notebook microphone and it is normal,but it sounds way worse then this mic.

This is 100% a grounding issue. Use another microphone. If the issue goes away, it was a bad mic. If the issue persists, it's a bad port.
