This is my water cooling pump, i bought it new bat it is too noisy in contrast with a friend's of me who got the same with me.

Any ideas how can i reduce the noise?? Thanks!

ewww thermaltake pumps. those are not good. they make good air cooling parts, but not water parts. you can try sitting it on some foam to reduce some of the vibrations

I like D5's

lay some foam or gel under the pump to stop vibrations, make sure your res. is filled and try to get all the air bubbles out

as the beast said put some foam or gel pad under it. just dont cover the pump or the air hole on it as it will heat up.

I believe most is already said, Thermaltake makes great air-products and they make kind of stock water parts, they are cheap though so I reckon they perform as they are priced which is fine with me as long as it brings a temperature around 5/6 C degrees higher then ambient temperature.

Though I'd change the pump no matter what system because I like Asetek (or Zalman, but they are expensive as always. I don't like paying for a name). Ofcourse any silent pump such as D5 or whatever pump will do, I just like Asetek over the others due to past experiences :)
