This might be an odd request for these forums... But I'm looking for a laptop to meet the following needs at the lowest cost possible.
1) store loads of photos and videos (have a 7 month old first child who we "document" quite frequently!)
2) have a blueray drive (read, not write)
3) have Microsoft office installed (periodically will use in place of work computer - I'm a CPA so lots of excel and word) - preferred but not a deal breaker as I can buy this separately if necessary
4) internet functions for my wife - duh, but just wanted to mention as a primary use
5) must be relatively light and portable for use on the coach and around the house
Basically will be a supplemental PC for General home needs for the wife and I as well as the primary storage device (other than the backup external hard drive). I would like the hard drive to be fairly quick, but I don't need to put down the money for ssd
