noob hard drive reformat question..

How do I reformat my WD1002FAEX? I need to reformat and get windows back on it.. How do i do it?

So you have Windows on it now? If you do you could follow these steps here it should have everything you need just make sure to print them or use another computer to view them as you go though the process. http://www.ehow.com/how_6026_format-hard-drive.html
Make sure you have a Windows CD before you start so you can put Windows back on the HDD.

when you install windows like is and option will be there during installation. It will say some like quick format or full or complete format. Do not do a quick format. if your going to the trouble then wipe it clean. takes longer. but do it now or do it later.

Yeah, im having massive fps problems on my pc, ive had multiple tests done and voltages and freqs are ok, video cards are in CF mode, and drivers are ok. Thanks for the info, ill do the windows install tonight.

The only difference in a quick and full format. Full checks for disk errors, quick does not. The format itself is the same between the two.
