noob looking to build new rig-450 pound budget

Hi guys, im quite new to the whole pc gaming scene.
i currently have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop which SUCKS for gaming:p
Im playing WoW at the lowest graphics and getting 20 fps...
Im looking to play games such as:WoW, skyrim, total war,minecraft, battelfield etc...
If someone could help me out it would be really great:)
i just need to know what to buy because building it will be fine.

£450 budget? I'll try. Do you need Windows included in that too, because Home Premium is like £70-80.

If you upped your budget a bit you could get a much better CPU (Core i3) and a better board.

If it's too much, go for 4GB of RAM rather than 8GB. Otherwise that will be a sweet gamer for the price.
 
hey, thanks alot man! when you say up your budget, how much do you mean? and i dont think you will have to include win7 so what board abd cpu would be better?
 
Don't forget, if you have a Windows 7 OEM copy, say from your lappy,you cant use it on the desktop, each system requires a new disk. Get a OCZ or Antec PSU, the Corsair CX series whines.
 
My Dad has a Corsair CX and he has no issues. Those PSUs are fine and are great for the money. Novatech don't stock the Antec Neos and OCZ's cheaper units aren't much better than the Corsair, and they're more expensive.
