noob needs help

hi all

in my error i let someone partition my drive (supposedly) and install a second OS (fedora 9)
it boots using the only password i was given but won't update cos it says my password is wrong??
can i remove the OS easily (bearin in mind i a noob) or is there a better solution to this issue?

any help would be appreciated

wow...you do want to make it clear that you are a noob eh..lol


As for your issue, you could try reformatting that partition and then change the boot order. Remove fedora from boot options and you should be fine..:)
 
yeah when i say noob i really do mean it. :)
just to prove it...how do i find the partition in order to reformat it?
lookin thro other posts, i get the impression that my comp should show 2 sections but it don't :confused:
i know i a nuisance but didn't know where else to go to find out
