So I torrented a movie that is in .avi format. I took the file and burned it to a DVD-R using DVD Styler. It plays fine on my computer and others but I can't get it to play on my DVD player, which is kind of old and dated. Could it be that my DVD player doesn't play this format? I know almost nothing about burning DVDs and I don't want to spend all my blanks trying to figure it out through trial and error.
