Yes its time for another :D...A friend of mine is trying to learn "all about computers" and he is depending on me to teach him EVERYTHING lol. I looked on google for awhile on good reviews for all types of CPU's, Mobos, Memory, etc...

However I could not find anything suitable for this situation. I was wondering if anyone knows a good site(s) to get him up-to-date on the latest technology of computers?

Thanks

I don't know really if specific websites and stuff would really help him "know all about computers" it's really to what degree and how in depth he really wants to go. The best way is to keep up to date with the new changes in technology and read about WHY they work the way they do and so on. the most important thing i think is to start checking out a lot of forums like this one.

Well yeah I referred him to forums like this one, but he needs to catch up on computer hardware and i simply don't feel like explaining EVERYTHING to him lol. I'll check out the link bobo gave, thanks ;)

Well thats kinda weird and i wouldnt expect this question from somebody who is supposed to teach somebody all about computers.

Just teach him how Pc's work, what every single part does, and what the numbers mean/performance they give. From then on he has to do his own research and he'll know how powerful each component out there is by looking at the specs etc.....
