Hi there. A neighbour wants her computer updating 'because its so slow' and she has come to me for help. I can put computers together easily enough I just don’t know what parts work with motherboards etc too well.
Anyway she has this motherboard...

with 1ghz memory so that seems ok but she has a 1.3 duron processor. With the motherboard only taking Socket A/462 processors she’s a bit limited to what processors she can get. Quick look on ebay and I came up with this....

Problem being the bus frequency is 166mhz and this motherboard supports 100/133mhz according to the manual... will this processor be ok? Any other socket a processors out there that will improve her computer?
