Noooooooooo!!!!

I just got my other computers screen fixed but now the computer won't work!

HP Pavilion t124a
When i start up it just goes in to HP Recovery console and then ask me for recovery cds i made about 1-2 years ago but won't work.... i tryed this computers ones lol :o not no worky.... :mad:

Dun Fix = No Com :eek: :eek:

Anyway to get around this?

Oh and i do know about computers and not a newbie....

That's why. He says that they do not work. :). I do not see what could be wrong? Have you changed any HDD on your computer? That could be the reason for the failure of recovery.

No change HDD not changed parts apart from when i was switching around RAM but its got its original.... i tryed HP Support, found a solution but then they don't have any Recoverys for Sale at the HP support store, so is ther ANYWAY of getting past?
 
this is what i did, copy the recovery partition to another hardrive, plug that drive in and then use the recovery function it works for my HP.
 
Well could you tell me how to make a partition because i still gotta figure that out.... and i don't have a spare drive eithier i just got this 80GB one here

EDIT: Oh yea i just stuck my Recovery CD into my CD drive.... seems like it has a load of media files as well and recovery files.... is it supposed to be like this? because from what i know its not supposed to

Not sure what it is that you are saying here. Last HP I had about 4 years ago or so came with recovery disks. All you have to do is stick em in and reboot your computer and it'll guide you through the rest. It'll basicly put back your computer to it's original state.
 
Well i check teh CD and it has HP printer installation software.... whats up with that!\

I'm thinking about bulding a new system anyway so i might just use this for something else but if theres a why you tinkn it may work i'm happy to try!

So it did not work when you booted with the recovery cd's? as suggested by myself and Praetor.
 
Ebay.... i don't think so.... anyway it goes to the HP Recovery by itself! and i checked disc two and it seems like it has the right files. Maybe i could download the first CD somewhere?
 
maybe i should just ditch that system use some of its parts to train me in building a computer and then build a system or maybe sell it to my friend :P
