North Bridge Chipset and Video Card Compatibility

Hi, I am wondering if a motherboard with a NVIDIA nForce4 SLI north bridge chipset would be compatible with an ATI video card.

The exact models are as follows.

Motherboard: Foxconn Socket 939 Nvidia nforce4 sli atx amd.

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon X850XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16.

Both products are on newegg if further information is desired.
 
yea. ATI cards dont even have the sli connector on the top of the card, why would they be compatible with sli?
if you want to crossfire there are limited amount of boards that'll let you.
but, for single card configuration any pci-express x16 compatible slot should work with any pci-express x16 card.
so simply, yes its compatible.
