Northbridge Heating Up

Hello. My current problem is my northbridge.

Ok, so basicly my problem is that the northbridge gets hot, VERY hot; about 54C under full load. My cpu temps are fine and all.
Is this normal though? What are the safe temps when it comes to northbridges?

buy one of these and screw it onto your NB:

and put some AS5 on it

KK, ill try adding a 80mm fan next to it and see what it does.

was that you that wrote the last review on newegg? if not, i can probably safely say that this is a motherboard malfunction, and probably cannont be solved with a fan

I dont think it's a malfunction, everyone else seems to have this problem.

put AS5 on the NB heatsink and add a fan, it should take temps down...

its its the mobo overheating its a malfunction, three things to do:

1: Let it burn it's self out
2: do what I said
3: buy a new mobo

Well, i dont know if it is over heating. For all i know it can get up to 100C safely.

This is stupid...
I got the 30mm fan and jerry rigged it onto the northbridge, but it doesn't work very well. I guess the fins are too small to transfer heat efficiently.
