Norton for Mac

I got windows on my macbook using parallel. And i'm very paranoid about the virus and stuff, so I want to buy norton for my mac os X, but i noticed that all the mac ones out there are not compatible with the c2d ones. Does anyone know where i can find one that does or have any idea if norton will have more coming out in the future??
 
For the most part you're probably pretty save just using Mac OS X in general. There are very few viruses that affect the system. I'd say about 1/4 of the amount that affect Windows based systems. I run my mac without any virus scan. Typically, as long as you don't do anything like surfing porn sites or illegal stuff, you won't get viruses :P
 
oh yea i know that but its just that i have windows on my system too, and i'm afraid that it would effect my mac os
 
Just keep that portion safe. I really don't think, even if the windows portion was infectect, that it would bother the rest of the system. That is unless it's some virus that does corrupt partitions and what not. That would be totally preventable, though, though a windows virus scan.
