Norton or Comodo firewall?

This is really a two part question.

1) Is the Norton Security Suite Firewall as good as Comodo?

2) If I keep Comodo, how do I make sure the Norton Security Suite firewall is completely turned off so as to not interfere with Comodo?

Currently, in this latest version of Norton, if I go to Norton > pc security > Manage firewall, I have two options:

tab 1: General Setting > which allows me to turn off 'smart firewall' and 'block all network traffic'

and also

tab 2: Intrustion and Browser protection > which allows me to turn off 'Intrustion Prevention', 'Browser protection' and 'download intelligence'.

What all do I turn off? Can I just turn off 'smart firewall' and leave the rest? Or do I need to turn it all off?

* In the firewall manager, Norton won't allow me to turn off "Stealth Blocked Ports", "Stateful protocol filter", and "Automatic File/Printer Sharing control". I'm worried that if I can't turn off ALL of the firewall settings that there will be conflicts with Comodo. ?

windows firewall is one way only. think inbound.
if your router supports inbound and outbound its ok.
My router does, and also have Kaspersky both ways.
I say one or other. ya need both ways then good to go.
also for ports. thats important.opening closing, blocking completely if needed.

I used to have norton before...let me tell you it did not work that great as I expect it.anyways....I'd recommend you the one I'm currently using right now so far its been doing very good, its ZenOK Free Antivirus, it's fast and I have had no problem detecting virus or trojans etc....:D

try it and tell me

hope it works regards :good:

Norton Security Suite Firewall is as good as Comodo.
I am using it and very satisfied with its performance.

I been using Norton for few years. In between, I have used so much different Security Softwares, including the free versions. Yet until today, I like Norton and I'm satisfied with it and yes, I renew subscriptions every year.
