Norton Popularity

why do so many people use norton when it is clearly not as good as other antivirus programs? i have seen so many people complaining about norton yet they still go back time and time again. WHY?

I used to have norton and it would always mess up on me till I switched to mccafee...

I see alot of people using it because it supposedly is the best and finds keyloggers and such. I think that's a load of crap from my personal experience with it.

For the same reason that people buy Compaq/HP computers and McAffee products I would imagine.
