norton problems

i recently bought a copy of norton antivirus and when i load it onto my computer after about 10 mins my pc keeps restarting. and it wont even finish a full disk scan. when i uninstall it everything works fine though. any one have any idea what could be wrong? i have tried it on other pcs and same thing happens

I would uninstall Norton and call the company. I think unless there is nothing wrong with your computer such as a virus there might be something wrong with the program.

search for a program called symNRT. you'll find it at the symantec website. download it and run the program, restart your system and try installing norton again
