Quadro cards aren't meant for gaming. They are meant to be used with programs like Maya, 3DSMax, Houdini and CAD.

And ATi has already released a 1Gb card, the FireGL V7350. Which is also meant for Maya, 3DSMax etc.

Very true. They will play games pretty well, but there not opimized for games and dont have some of the latest technologies that gaming cards do. Not to mention you would be paying alot of money for the same performance that a $200-$300 gaming card would outperform it at.
