"not responding due to a long running script"

This is the message I get just about everytime I go from one site to another site using IE9 on Windows 7 which makes my computer almost useless because it freezes all the time. It's not a virus. Can anyone help solve this problem?

I would advise you scan for malware anyway using Malwarebytes, even if you don't think the issue is malware-related.

Use a different browser besides IE. It's getting to the point IE isn't worth all the headaches. Pale moon is a version of firefox, buts its a lot faster than firefox.
