Not sure whats wrong, please help!

For starters, i make special effects videos and post them on YouTube, but recently something has gone wrong...

When i try to play a video from my camcorder on my computer, the audio remains normal, but the video has a really slow playback. When i try and place the video file in my editing program (Adobe After Effects CS5.5) my entire PC crashes. And when i try to import a clip from Action Essentials 2 to After Effects, it has the same outcome.

All other videos work apart from my Camcorder ones and AE2

So could somebody please try and help me? Im desperate to get back in form again!

Sounds like a corrupt file, or their is something wrong with your camcorder. I would advise connecting the camcorder to another computer and downloading the files to see if you are getting the same problems.
