Not the administrator??!!

I was installing sony vegas 8 and it worked smoothly,then when I'm gonna install the the media manager for the vegas pro8 it alerted me that I do not have the administrator's privileges:confused:yet I am the admin:confused:any suggestions.comments..

hi... try right clicking on the setup file and click on Run As... and select an administrator account... this is to ensure that the program runs with the local system administrators priveleges

I already tried ("run as") the main "ADMIN" acct but it didn't worked,I also used and created other admin accts but things didnt worked out:confused:
 
try installing the program by using Add/Remove Programs from Program Files.
I'm not really sure if this will help you.
 
Go to Start> Control panel> User accounts> high light your user name then click on the properties button> Click on the Other option at the bottom> then on the drop down menu click on Administrator. Then Apply.
(The PC I used for that ^ is a member of a domain, you might not be able to access these options but give it a go anyway).

yeah I know this..these are the basics..thanx very much anyway:(
