Notation2....anyone help me with it?

I have a prog called notation2 which is supposed to turn any music on audio cds or any music I have on my pc into written notation so I can then print it off to play it on my piano....am I making any sense here....lol.
 
I have notation, the first edition. Mine allows composing music, and selecting the instruments to compose a MIDI compliation. I have a very hard time getting the five-lined staff to show up because it's a 16-bit program, and Magix says there's no patch.
