notebook on my lap, is it dangerous????

is it dangerous if you have the laptop on your laps?
i heard it is, but some of my friend say that is ok,
is it?
which sickness can i get?
 
I always used to have it on my lap without any problems and felt fine. You just wanna take it off for a couple minutes after a while bc it tends to get a little hot on your lap.
 
there was a thread on this before, i think it lowers sperm count or somethin in males...

put something under the laptop then put it on ur lap..
 
ha ha. Hows it possible that it would make you lose sperm count or cause anything/? It's just heat?
 
deep vein thrombosis is possible i spose with constant pressure on your lap can cause blood clots that travel along arteries and veins and end up in the heart or brain and can kill you
 
Can't you buy anything to put the laptop on before you put it on your lap? e.g. a bracket type thing that rests it just above your lap with a whole in it so the air can vent out.

It's perfectly fine to put it on your lap, all it does is warm it up a bit. And no, it doesnt lower your sperm count.

Besides, you have millions in you at any given point, so I think even if it did take a few out, you'd still be all set :P

umm, have you ever wondered why your balls are hanging in a bag outside your body rather than inside?

its to keep it at a lower temperature, lower than 37C (body temp). Exposing your balls to excessive heat is bad and will definitely lower your sperm count, this also goes for hot tubs.

If I have to have my laptop on my lap, I usually place it over something else, like a pillow or whatever.
