Now what ?

I've been trying to fix my computer but not having much luck, here are some of the problems I'm having.

Desktop links are not opening with less than 20 clicks or more.

Screen flashes white.

Right click disabled at times.

My Real Player seems to be infested and won't play properly.

I've tried downloading Housecall 6.5 many times but I keep getting errors and the mouse becomes disabled, I have to unplug the computer and restart.

Something is preventing access to my Hijack This logs.

I just downloaded Malwarebytes, performed a scan then the program disappeared before showing any results, now when I click the desktop icon for Malwarebytes I'm denied access.

As I wrote this the screen has flashed white a few times. I'll post a few screen shots of Trojans I've discovered if I can.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Kelly.

Safe mode sometimes will prevent a virus from running, it basically just runs what is needed. However some viruses can damage safemode but its worth trying. shut down your computer and turn it on, right after you see the bios screen and before you see the windows logo, press f8 repeatedly. you will then be asked how to boot. Choose safe mode. Once inside try to run virus scans again.

Use Malwarebytes and ccleaner, they should be best at detecting and removing any messed up files or infected files.

I've not been ab;e to access this site for quite awhile now my computer is under a constant attack, pop ups won't even allow me to do anything, I've tried using malwarebytes in safe mode but it still won't work. now what do I do ? call a computer shop to come fix it ? is that possible ? can anyone help !

I have someone move this into the security section, someone there has much more knowledge than i do

You need to reload your OS. Backup what files you can and start over.

Yup, last comment is absolutely correct. Think about how much time you've already spent trying to get it "clean". Simply put, you'll spend a LOT more time, and have much more frustration than if you just re-install your operating system. Even when you think you've gotten rid of everything, the machine may still end up being a little sluggish and give you issues from time to time.

If you can manage to get into "safe" mode as mentioned above, try to:

1) Transfer any files you want to keep to a USB / Flash Drive / CD (Any form of removable media will do).

2) Re-install your operating system.

3) Install new anti-virus / malware etc. programs.

4) Insert removable media and SCAN FIRST. Those files may easily have already been corrupted from the previous Operating System (OS).

5) Clean or delete any infected files on the media.

6) Finish transfering the CLEN data back onto your computer.

7) FINAL STEP - If at all possible, try not to visit sites that have illegal content / software / adult websites etc.... Many of these sites may well have viruses and really mess things up on your comp. Keep your virus protection up at all times and maybe even a firewall like "ZoneAlarm" with basic settings.

Oh, crap trojans are a HUGE pain in the rear. My parent's dell has been hacked countless times, all from trojans. I have learned that investing in Norton 360 if the best way to go, I buy it every year. As the name suggests, it has 360 protection, and prevents practically anything from hacking your computer. Here is the link to buy, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...re+-+Security/Utilities-_-Symantec-_-32108428 And here is the link to learn: http://www.symantec.com/norton360/

Good Luck!

NEVER EVER buy Norton! EVER I'm sorry it just has to be said,,, its the worst programme ever made.
