NT Server Printer

in our class we have a network set up with windows NT for our server and windows 2k on all of the other computers. One of the computers when it prints nothing but lines on the paper comes out and it wont stop printing, it does the same thing on each paper. Like a printer code. Is it a virus? or somethign else?

If all the other machines are printing ok and using the NT print driver on the server, then you should just need to delete the printer on that one Win2k machine, the re-add it, (it should ask to use the driver on the server or possibly a local one if it exists. choose the server one and see how that goes.)

As a workaround if it still is not working, delete the printer on the Win2k machine then add a LOCAL printer for the model of printer you have. Then go into it's properties and change the port to a network url (ie: \\servername\printername). That will use the local Win2k print driver and print to the network printer... :)
