ntfs

Hiya, complety new to this so bear with me, whats the difference between ntfs and win32 filing systems ? as i have just brought a laptop off ebay and it is using win32 and my desktop uses ntfs. On the laptop there is a folder in which i have the choice to switch to ntfs is the advisable ?

hiya, my os is windows xp pro, so by the look of what you said i need to switch back to ntfs.

Hi, Yes if you are running XP then I would switch to NTFS.

You don't have to switch back to it. It will just make it better.
