Left the nVidia cPanel open, and when I came out it said 50C
I also ran it at 1600x1200, avg ~35-40fps with THOSE settings.Ku-sama said:which is much hotter then mineand mind you, you arent useing 1600x1200
MIK3daG33K said:50 c is FINE, i didn't say it wasn't but you claimed that it was at 36 C a couple posts before and i didn't belive you. My card did not load at 50 C it loaded at 75 which is a little high, so i got the NV. Not to mention the stock fan on the heatsink SCREAMS, the NV is silent. So i didn't waste my money in fact it was one of the best things i have bought for my system.
160F, 110F both are fine and WONT kill the card, no need to upgrade cooling to do that.Ku-sama said:uh, Eric, i ran at 3GHz, videocard overclocked to 521MHz//1.16GHz and ran at 1600x1200 AA 16x and AF 8x, and got 45~FPS average.... and about the cooling, my card BY NATURE will run hotter then a 7800GT... with stock cooling it wasnt a surprise to watch it get up to 160F when it had the stock thermal crap, then with AS5, it was getting up to 150F, not with the NV5 and AS5, its peaking at like 110F
