hey i have an old nivdea vanta(i know it sucks) and i was wondering if its better than the onboard video on this EVGA board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188021

If so, then the onboard video is MUCH better, and it supports DX9.

I agree with omega here, the onboard card is quite a few generations newer than the Vanta, it'll be faster by a fair deal.
