Nvidia 460m GTX vs Radeon HD 6490M

So I am looking into a few laptop models and and I am curious which one has the better gpu, Nvidia 460m GTX 1 GB DDR5 or Radeon HD 6490M graphics with 256MB GDDR5? I know gaming gpu should be left to desktops but being Navy still to mobile in my life to enjoy a desktop. Thanks for any input.

I'm not sure on the performance on a 6490M, I've never even really heard of it to be honest. Judging by its card number and the fact that it only has 256mb of memory, I'd wager the 460m is a much better bet.
