nvidia 7600gs crashing in xp now

ok yesterday i post a tread about my 7600gs crashing in a certain game. it would blur all over the screen and then crash completally locking my computer. the only thing i could do is just switch it of at the mains. but today after i have left the com for a while i came back to it and the card had done all this but in windows. this means its not a game copatibility problem but i am now clueless as to what to do. its also intermittent as wen i am writing this post now its fine it seems to be when its been left for a while or when it is under a lot of load ie playing a game. i have the most bang up to date drivers for this card and i have heard of promlems with them. can anybody tell me what is wrong and do you reckon i should install someolder drivers??

I'm having the same problem. How often does yours freeze? Mine only does it once or so a day. I reinstalled the latest drivers a few moments ago and haven't had any problems yet, so I'll see how it goes.
 
ive tried the up to date drivers and some older ones with no gain. myn does this about 5 mins into the game without fail and in windows it always does it wen ive left it for a bit
