nvidia 7900 vs 7950

THe 7950gx2 is essentially two 7900gts put into one card, so its better than any 7900 cards. However im not sure about 7950gt.

you know the 7900gs and 7900gt will they play games that require up to 7900 but i persume if the game requires 7950 and up even the 7900gt wont play it, do you understand me

Currently, there is no game on the market that requires 7950 and up.

So, 7900GS can run any game.
That depends what you mean, because practically any card can play any game out, but if you crank up the settings and resolution, even the 7900GS will start to fall behind.

how can i unlock pipes
It depends on the card. You can unlock them by flashing the BIOS with that of the higher end model of the same core, however most new cards are laser cut, so its practically impossible.

I'm pretty sure you cannot play Oblivion maxed out everything and in high foliage area without lagging with a 7900gs.;)

I was just tell him that 7900GS could play any game on the market.

I didn't say to him that he will be able to max out all games by 7900GS

you know the card i said im going to get the link i put up is it the same chipset as the 7900gto/gtx just an underclocked version, also mine has 20 pipes instead of 24

7950GX2 > 7900gtx > 7950gt > 7900gt > 7950gs > 7900gs
(from best to worst like the greater than symbol suggests)

the performance may differ per game and per system but generally this is the trend.

the prize also double on the 7950gx2. but if you going to spend 700 dollars on GPU. I would suggest u to get 8800gtx from xfx. Its just godly.
