nvidia 9800gt 1gb driver not compatible with hardare!..help

bought this card for gaming .ever since i havent been able to play any games except burnout paradise. installed batman arkam assylum and prince of persia and it went sooo slow and could'nt play as it used to lag and freeze ....now i cannot update it with new drivers it keeps in giving me error hardware is not compatible with driver. now what the heck is wrong with this??

i tried deleting all drivers with driver sweeper and then situation got worse display was all messed up and new driver still could'nt load.so i finally restored it and atleast it was back to previous stage

my computer specifications are

2.33 gigahertz Intel Core2 Quad Q8200
64 kilobyte primary memory cache
2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (4 total)
Not hyper-threaded

3070 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

It sounds like your computer needs to be cleaned. Download and run these programs:

CCleaner
MalwareBytes
Auslogics Disk Defrag
Auslogics Registry Cleaner

All are free and are designed to keep your system running at peak performance... I suspect you have a lot of old files slowing down your computer.

Also, you ony lsited the specs of your CPU. We need your entire computer specs (lik in my signature) to help you properly.

Definitely a problem there. My 9800GT plays Batman quite well actually. I forget the settings right off, but probably High, 1920x1080, no AA.

How's your activity? Is your HD constantly active? Do you have many processes running? Is there any CPU usage when apparently idle?

In your case, I'm leaning towards drivers or hardware issues more than anything. Remember, most games are heavily reliant on the GPU, not the CPU. Unless your system is really being bogged down by something, you should get decent frame rates with that setup.
