The price of 8700GTS 256MB is going to be only $199 when it comes out. Thats the same price of 8600GTS when it first came out

However, the 512MB version of 8700GTS will be priced at $249

I think it will be much faster than 8600GTS, because 8700GTS have 256bit memory interface, while 8600GTS is only 128bit

I wish. If it is then it'd be great, I might actually consider upgrading to it! But truthfully, I'm going to wait till it's released to make sure. Cause you never know what's up Nvidia's sleeve.

BTW the memory bandwidth may have increased but if the rest of the specs aren't up to snuff it won't matter. Plus it might end up 128bit anyways, the 8600's were said to be 256bit but it didn't come to be. :/
