NVIDIA GeForce 525M or 540M?

Hi there, I'm in the process of finalizing my Dell XPS 15 customizations online and I've became torn between graphics cards. If you haven't seen my other post about my configuration then I'm going to be using it to do the following things:

> Frequent and extensive iTunes playing
> Surfing the web
> Playing YouTube videos
> Playing some light gaming (WoW and RuneScape in low/med quality)
> Recording videos to my laptop through a Dazzle DVC 100
> Editing videos in Windows Movie Maker and saving them in HD
> Typing reports and other misc.

So, I had been planning on getting the 525M for a few reasons. 1) to save money, the 540M is $98 more and 2) I'm not sure I need the extra boost. But that's why I'm on here, to get advice and suggestions. So for what I'm going to be doing, is the 540M really worth the extra money? It comes down to getting this better card and getting rid of my back-lit keyboard or vice versa. So let me know, thanks for reading and giving any input you may have.

If you can fling the extra money, go for the better card.

How much is the backlit keyboard through Dell? I know it wasn't initially offered on my Latitude, but you can find backlit keyboards on eBay for $20 like I did.

save your money and just overclock the 525m. It will net you the same difference as it has the same memory bus, and core count.

The screen is going to be a 15.6" 1920x1080 screen. And the back-lit keyboard is $40 extra dollars. I'm not sure if I'm savvy enough to go installing my own keyboard yet though lol. How do you overclock a graphics card? I thought that was CPU's only lol. At any rate, if I could do that safely, then I'll go with that option.

All you have to do for the keyboard is pop the top bezel off and unscrew it. It would save you money to just buy it and install it yourself.

you use a program like EVGA precision or MSI afterburner. I personally like afterburner better currently, but precision was good in the past. All you got to do is slide the tuner bar to the MHz you want say 675 and the memory to the level you want too, like 915. Those settings if stable would net you slightly better than the 540.
