NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Vs. integrated intel gma x4500hd

I was looking for a laptop before I shipped out to AIT, so when I found one in my price range with good RAM and a good CPU I decided to check it out. Everything is good, except I'm not so sure about the graphics card. I have a desktop that has an NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, and the laptop has an Intel GMA X4500HD. The ram and cpu are the same, so i figure the bottleneck in both is the CPU. So my question is, how big of a drop (or rise) in graphics card quality will I be taking here if I get the laptop. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on many other things...

Can you post the links or give a total budget that you would like to spend on a laptop? We can help you find something...more bang for the buck you could say.

Well my only real question is how much, better or worse, is the Intel X4500HD compared to the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. Both are set with basically the same stuff except the laptop has the Intel instead of the NVIDIA. I've been working with computers for a while, but as of yet I haven't crossed paths with the X4500HD, and searching the net didn't give me solid specs, so I really don't know much about it. If I figure out how the two stack up, I'll be able to make my decision of whether I'm going to get it or not.

The intel should be better and is designed clearly for HD decoding, however neither will run 3D graphics well. The only real way to test would be to run a benchmark such as 3DMark06 or PCMark.
