I had a notification in my system tray that said there was an update to Nvidia GeForce Experience. I don't even know what this is, but it seemed like the interface for keeping my drivers updated, so I figure I should update it, especially since I recently had a graphics issue that was fixed by updating my drivers.
But during the installation (at a point where the progress update said "uninstalling," no less!) I got an error about a Microsoft Runtime problem and the installation stopped.
Now when I click on that system tray icon, there is no longer an option to go to Nvidia GeForce Experience. The only options are Nvidia Control Panel and Exit.
So what happened here? Did it uninstall my GeForce interface but not install the new version? Does it matter? How can I check to be sure my actual graphics card drivers weren't affected?
Thanks!
