Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB - how good is this card?

Hi everyone, I'm looking at buying this pc to run games such as battlefield 3 on high detail without any problems at all

the graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB

and the pc itself

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Ivy...DesktopPCs&hash=item20c6859617#ht_3841wt_1271

I'm only willing to spend this sort of money if it's worth it, I really have no clue about computers and would appreciate any help or information about any of the specs for the computer I wish to buy

Thanks :)

high detail might be a bit of a stretch I think (not sure of 1GB will be enough). If you go to google, search GTX 560 ti benchmark, you'll see lots of good reviews out there with FPS tests (anandtech is a good one).

I was gonna suggest having SSD or some sort to load the OS and applications like BF3.

Also, 16 GB of RAM is totally unnecessary in my opinion unless other people have comment on that.

Thank you so much for your answer :) I agree that 16GB is unnecessary, the problem is I cannot find any other systems on ebay within my budget (£650) and really have no idea about what components are needed to create a computer, I think I will buy this as it's capable of most games :)

thank you so much for the google tip :)

The 560Ti is just a tad out of date these days, but I imagine it could do a decent job on getting close to maxing out BF3.

You know you can create a thread in the Desktop section asking for help in choosing components. Other members would be more than happy to come up with a build list for you.

Thank you so much :) I will try that now :)

hey, building your own computer isn't as hard as it is. You can totally buy a much better system if you order the parts on your own.

Like the reply above me, you can create a thread and there are so many experts live to help you out, or they can even pick out the parts for you as long as you provide them your exact budget and location.

even if you get stuck on the process of building it, you can take pictures and upload it so people can help out :D
