Nvidia Gt525m driver for dell XPS

I have dell XPS 15 latop with core i5 and nvidia gt525m video card.The drivers provided by dell on their site are very old.As a result I cant run latest games.Can I install latest drivers provided by nvidia on their site?Is it that for optimus technology the drivers have to be provided by manufacturer?

for optimus you have to install both the Intel HD driver and the NCP drivers. You will not be able to enjoy the latest games though as that is a very weak card.

Yes, you can use the latest Nvidia drivers on that laptop.

I am talking about older games like Gta IV.It should be able to run it atleast on medium graphics.But game doesnt detect the graphic card.
I have Intel HD drivers installed.Can I install the updated drivers from nvidia or should I wait for Dell to provide the drivers?

Just go to Nvidia and download the newest drivers. Dell will never update the drivers, the ones that they have for my Latitude have not been updated since release. Nvidia constantly updates the drivers.
