Hi guys,
I'm customizing a laptop and, damn, that 680 is so sexy looking, but I feel like the CPUs the site is offering is severely limiting the potential of the card. I wanna know if the CPUs can handle the 680 or if I should save myself the 300$ and hop down to a 675. They offer 2.3, 2.6, and 2.7 ghz cpus. Thanks for any information you can give me regarding this topic.

well gaming laptops sorta suck compared to desktops, if you're looking at 680 benches expect way less performance, mobile gpus suck compared to real gpus since they have to be smaller, use less power, and not near as much room for cooling.

And a 2.2ghz i5 or i7 should be plenty fast for games.

The gtx680m is an amazing GPU for a laptop. Although no it cannot be compared to a desktop 680, it's actually around gtx 660 performance which would pretty much play any game at 1080p you want.

Be careful on the CPU and make sure it's a quad core. For desktops all I5's and I7's are quads BUT thats not the case for laptops some are dual cores.
