Theres alot more to a motherboard than just the chipset, however the nForce 590 chipset is one of the best and newest available, and is only on the AM2 platform. The new 5xx chipset offers alot of advantages over the older nForce 4 chipset, you should be very pleased with it.
What model motherboard are you getting?
